Prompt Engineering Fundamentals
The one skill that makes every other AI tool work better
Most people's AI experience is one bad prompt and a shrug of disappointment. This workshop teaches prompt engineering as a practical, transferable skill — not a technical discipline — so participants can get useful, accurate output from any AI tool on the first or second try. Covers structuring a prompt for the task at hand, giving an AI model the right context, iterating on a weak response, and recognising when AI output needs a second look before it's used. Because the skill transfers across tools, it's the foundation every other Digitalisation Workshop builds on.

Working With ChatGPT & GPT-Based Tools
Drafting, summarising and researching without the guesswork
ChatGPT and other GPT-based tools are the most widely available AI assistants in most Malaysian workplaces, and the most widely under-used. This workshop moves participants from occasional, curious use to a genuine working habit — drafting emails and documents, summarising long reports, researching a topic quickly, and checking work — while covering the accuracy and confidentiality limits every team needs to understand before using it on real business content. Participants leave with tested prompts and workflows mapped to their own actual job, not a generic tools demo.

Working With Google Gemini
Google's AI, already inside the tools your team uses every day
For organisations already running on Google Workspace, Gemini is often the fastest AI win available — it's already integrated into Gmail, Docs and Sheets, usually sitting unused. This workshop shows teams how to actually activate that capability: drafting and refining documents inside Docs, summarising long email threads, building formulas and analysis inside Sheets, and using Gemini for meeting notes and follow-ups. Because it's scoped to tools your team already opens every day, adoption doesn't require a new habit — just switching on a capability that was already paid for.

Working With Claude
Careful, context-aware AI for writing, analysis and review work
Claude is increasingly the AI model of choice for teams doing careful writing, document analysis and review work, where nuance and context matter more than speed alone. This workshop covers what Claude does differently from other assistants — handling long documents, following detailed instructions consistently, and producing more measured, editable drafts — and where it fits alongside other AI tools a team already uses rather than replacing them outright. Ideal for teams producing reports, policies, proposals or any content where getting the tone and detail right actually matters.

Working With Microsoft Copilot
The AI already sitting inside Microsoft 365 — properly switched on
Many organisations running Microsoft 365 have Copilot available and have never used it beyond a curiosity click. This workshop walks teams through Copilot inside Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams — drafting and editing documents, building and explaining spreadsheet formulas, summarising email threads and meetings, and generating first-draft presentations — scoped to the licence and tools your organisation already has. As with the Gemini workshop, the focus is activating capability you've likely already paid for, with a clear-eyed look at what Copilot handles well and where a human still needs to check the work.

Vibe Coding: AI-Assisted Building for Non-Developers
Building a working app, tool or automation without writing code from scratch
"Vibe coding" — describing what you want in plain language and letting an AI tool generate the working code — has made building simple internal tools realistic for people who have never written a line of code. This hands-on workshop walks non-developers through building something real: a small internal tool, a simple automation, or a working prototype, using AI coding assistants to generate and refine the result. Participants also learn the guardrails — what to check before anything built this way touches real business data — so enthusiasm doesn't outrun good sense.

AI Automation & Workflow Tools
Connecting everyday tools so repetitive work runs itself
A large share of office work is repetitive, multi-step and entirely automatable — moving data between a form, a spreadsheet and an email, for instance — yet most teams still do it by hand every time. This workshop introduces no-code and AI-assisted automation tools that connect the apps a team already uses, so routine tasks trigger and complete themselves. Participants map one of their own real workflows during the session and leave with a working automation, not just a concept, plus the judgement to identify the next five processes worth automating.

Data & Dashboards for Decision-Makers
Turning spreadsheets into dashboards leaders can actually act on
Most Malaysian SMEs have plenty of data and very little visibility — numbers sit in spreadsheets nobody reviews until something's already gone wrong. This workshop teaches practical dashboard-building using tools teams already have access to, combined with AI-assisted analysis to spot trends and anomalies without a data science background. Participants build a working dashboard from their own business data during the session, covering what to track, how to visualise it so it's actually read, and how to use AI tools to ask questions of the data directly instead of digging through raw tables.

Cybersecurity & Scam Awareness
Spotting the scam before it costs you
Scams targeting Malaysian businesses — fake invoices, impersonation calls, phishing emails — keep getting more convincing, and a one-off email reminder from IT doesn't change behaviour. This scenario-based workshop trains HR, finance and admin teams to recognise phishing patterns, verify suspicious requests before acting on them, and know exactly who to escalate to when something looks wrong. Sessions use realistic, current scam examples rather than generic security theory, so the habits built in the room are the ones that actually catch the next attempt.

A practical "0 to 1" plan for going digital, in the right order
Digitalisation projects commonly fail because the tools were bought before the roadmap was clear — a system gets purchased, then the business tries to retrofit its processes around it. This workshop takes teams through an honest digital-readiness assessment, sequencing what to digitalise first, and building a practical roadmap covering areas like e-Invoice/LHDN compliance, core system upgrades, and website or online presence fundamentals, before anything gets purchased. It's the workshop most organisations should take first, before committing budget to any specific tool or platform.

Are these workshops HRDC claimable?
Most sessions across all 10 workshops are HRDC claimable for organisations with an active HRD Corp levy account. We confirm eligibility before you commit.
Can we combine workshops into one programme?
Yes. Many organisations combine several workshops — for example an AI tools session with cybersecurity awareness or the digital roadmap workshop — into a single multi-day capability-building programme. Tell us what you're solving for and we'll scope it.
Do participants need a technical background?
No. Every workshop on this page is written for non-technical business teams — admin, HR, finance, operations, marketing and management. Vibe Coding, for example, is explicitly aimed at people who are not developers. We teach the tools through real work tasks, not computer-science theory.
Which workshop should we start with?
Most teams start with Prompt Engineering Fundamentals, because it makes every other AI tool workshop land better. If your organisation has already standardised on one platform, go straight to the matching workshop — ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude or Microsoft Copilot. Are the digitalisation workshops HRDC claimable?
Most are, for organisations with an active HRD Corp levy account. OPERiONPlus is an HRD Corp registered training provider. Claimability depends on your levy status and the specific workshop, and we confirm it with you before you commit.
Can a workshop be customised to our own tools and workflows?
Yes. In-house sessions are scoped around your actual workflows — your documents, your reporting, your systems — rather than generic demo material, so the exercises staff do in the room are the tasks they go back to.
How much does a workshop cost?
Fees depend on the programme, the format (half-day or full-day), group size and delivery location, so we quote per session rather than publishing a fixed price. Most programmes are HRDC claimable, which for levy-registered employers can offset a substantial part of the cost — we confirm both the quote and the claim path with you before you commit.
